WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a manual form of tattooing, where the technique gives the illusion of hair! It involves using a series of sloped needles to embed the ink (also referred to as pigment) into the skin.

WHAT ARE COMBO BROWS?

Combo brows utilize the technique of microblading in conjunction with shading. Shading can be done as a manual tattoo method or with a tattoo machine. Adding shading helps give the brows a more filled in look and can be done as light or as bold as you like! Shading is also good for all skin types, whereas microblading is best on normal skin.

CAN I JUST HAVE SHADING DONE TO MY BROWS?

Absolutely! This look is commonly known as a powder brow or ombré brow. Just let your artist know and we can certainly accommodate!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROBLADING AND PERMANENT BROWS?

Many artists use different terms to describe cosmetic tattooing services. Microblading, Combo, Powder, Ombré...they are all tattoos. Microblading fades earlier than the other techniques, but please note that these are all forms of PERMANENT makeup.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE GETTING MY BROWS DONE?

DOES IT HURT?

Each person's pain tolerance varies, however a numbing anesthetic is applied before and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible.

HOW LONG WILL MY BROWS LAST?

Results again vary per individual based on their skin type, lifestyle, and genetics. On average, microblading lasts about 12-14 months. Shaded brows last a little longer, where they could last up to 18-24 months. We recommend getting your brows touched up annually to keep your color and shape intact.
